At Work
is your starting point to see how UNISON Eastern represents and helps its members who are spread across eight service groups, covering the energy, healthcare, higher education, local government, police and probation staff, transport, and water and environment industries. We are just forming a new Community and Voluntary Service group which will include Housing Associations.
UNISON Eastern's main aim is to make work a fairer, safer, more equal place to be. If you join UNISON you will become a member of a branch of the union. We group branches together into 'Service Groups' such as Local Government, Health Police etc so we can take up members' interests with decision makers at every level- locally, regionally and nationally.

We group members into branches based mainly on their employer but for the very small or the very large employers, you are likely to be placed in a local branch.
