275 Jobs Cut

 

On 1st Feb 2010 Essex County Council announced that it is cutting 275 jobs

 

The Council said it needs to get in shape to cope with the challenging economic times. UNISON gave its reaction in interviews with BBC look east and local Radio. Branch Secretary Mick Mahoney stated he was 'shocked at the large numbers'. Unison are looking into exactly where the cuts are to be made and will be consulting with members.  See more.
