A Regional Migrant workers group met for the first time earlier this year to build the work around this issue in the Region as part of the national campaign. Branches were asked to hold events to publicise the issue.

Cambridge City Branch branch secretary,  Liz Brennan reported:

"We showed the national migrant workers' exhibition , 'Photos from International Migrant Workers' Day' at our AGM in April and had a speaker from the national project. It was very useful to raise awareness of migrant workers needs and issues, particularly in the care sector."
