Norwich City Council Branch
Norwich City UNISON branch hosted their third branch open day on Wednesday 3 February, receiving nearly 200 visitors to their stand in the staff canteen. Those visiting the stand were asked their views on the 2010 pay claim, and were given free hot drinks courtesy of the branch.

Jessica Woodhouse, branch communications officer, said: "These open days are essential to maintaining branch visibility and letting our members know we're here, as well as giving non-members information about joining. The day was a great success and thanks go to all who helped - Susan Martin, Rob Daines, Stewart Walker, David Smith, Otis Hernandez, Chris Cotton, Adrian Sayer, Martine Holden, Scott Brinkley and Kevin O'Grady - as well as Andrea Barker from the Eastern regional office. We would be pleased to share our format with other branches if they are interested in how we organise these open day events".
