Cambs LG Branches
Cambridge City and Cambridgeshire County branches have been working
together since December to develop joint activities based on the unions
Million Voices for Public Services campaign.
Cambridge Branches On Wednesday 17th February there was a second stall promoting UNISON's Million Voices for Public Services. Liz Brennan and Peter Gaskin were joined by Paul Farley (Cambs Police) and Clare Greenwood from Anglia Ruskin. Martin Booth (Cambs Health) has also helped on the stall held on the 6th January, which was a very cold day.
Each stall was held between 12:00 and 14:00 hrs. All together we signed up 68 members of the public and spoke to people from across the UK, Europe and Australia. The public are very supportive of services to the community. They are also concerned about cuts in public funding and the damage it will have on the vulnerable, frail and those in most need.
