Government cuts will mean 16,000 fewer police officers and 18,000 fewer police staff – including police community support officers, 999 call takers and forensic experts.
The government also wants to privatise policing to allow private companies to
make a profit from keeping your community safe. Do you want your police services provided by public sector workers dedicated to protecting the public, or by a private company like G4S who need to make a profit for their shareholders?
