Members in Eastern Region celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Minimum wage by sharing a special birthday cake. All the cakes at the different events were decorated with our 'Happy Birthday National Minimum wage logo.
Young members in UNSON were surprised that the minimum wage had not been around forever!
We are still campaigning for it to be improved. In many parts of the Eastern Region it would barely be a living wage as housing costs are so high.
