Members in the Region Voting Yes to protect our pension
Member from all over the county are saying
'enough is enough'
As UNISON's strike ballot over public service pensions nears its closing date, UNISON members in East Anglia are hurrying to make sure their vote is counted.
UNISON members from Norfolk were queuing up to post their ballot papers outside City Hall in Norwich at noon on Wednesday 26 October, and explaining to the public why the ballot and industrial action is so important.
UNISON Regional Secretary, Glyn Hawker, said,
"The response we're getting to this issue is terrific. Everyone deserves a decent pension and public sector workers should not have their pensions raided by government ministers to make up for the mess that the bankers got us into."
below is some of those who will be voting Yes in the ballot.
