Equality
Disabled members
The Eastern Region Disabled Members Committee (ERDMC) is elected by members of the Disabled Members Self-organising Group (SOG) to represent all UNISON disabled members throughout the Eastern Region. We operate under the Social Model of Disability and this is the criteria for any UNISON disabled member to meet if they wish to participate fully in our activities.
We as individual committee members always encourage our disabled colleagues to join us, and add their strength to our ongoing campaigns for equality not only in the workplace, but also in society as a whole.
