UNISON Welfare in Eastern Region

Welcome to the Regional Welfare Committee section of the website. On these webpages you will find out information about the Regional Welfare Committee and the work that we do. Nationally, UNISON Welfare is a registered charity. It is a unique confidential service offering advice and support just for UNISON members and their families on:

  • Debt advice
  • Listening and support
  • Financial assistance
  • Breaks and holidays
  • Personal advice

The Regional Welfare Committee is a strategic group of UNISON Activists who are elected annually by the Regional Council to ensure the work of UNISON welfare is promoted and publicised throughout the Region. 

The lay Regional Welfare Officer is Lesley Pillar.
