Update on Dragons Den Bid - Essex Police

I purchased 12 Cameras, and Memory chips after negoitating a good price with local supplier, but had to wait for delivery as supplier had to collect camera's from other branches. All now delivered to Safety reps, & I have asked that during H&S week that they use them to highlight any H&S Issues. The camera's have proved a valuable aid to the H&S Reps, I have attached a couple of examples, a prime one has been regarding incorrect /ainappropriate storage of 2 oxygen bottles and 3 acetalyne bottles.

The photos were presented to management by our H&S rep on the ground, and have since been removed, together with some discussion over storage in future.
I have now constructed a folder of H&S photos, and will continue to use them to support issues that members raise.
Since attending Dragons Den, our membership has increased by 66 members, although I am sure these are not all accredited to the H&S Cameras, I am sure that the presence of our H&S Reps carrying out Inspections, and getting issues resolved is certainly helping, together with the extra communication to staff that they have while they are carrying out their Inspection rounds.
Thanks once again to the Dragons Den for favouring our bid.
