Introduction to Negotiating
Who is it for?
This course is aimed at UNISON representatives who are involved in negotiations or who are likely to become involved in negotiations with management on issues at work.
What will it be about?
This course will help participants to:
- understand what is meant by” negotiating”
- understand the process of negotiating
- understand how to prepare, present and negotiate on an issue
- understand what’s involved in negotiating as part of a team
- develop and practise negotiating skills
- develop good practice in negotiations
