Who is it for?
Any reps who have done basic steward training and want to find out more about the law on race & sex discrimination so that they can effectively help and represent members.
What will it be about?

Garry’s Case: Direct Discrimination
Stephanie’s Case: Interviewing a member with a sex discrimination case
Stephanie’s Case: Weighing up the evidence
Indirect discrimination, victimisation and harassment
Victimisation under the RRA and SDA
Discrimination Time Limits
Statutory Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures, Questionnaires, Section 71
The course aims are:
-to help you understand the law
-to take you through two cases so that you can get a good sense of how the law can be applied in practice
